More positive progress here in Sussex County! The SCDC is pleased to see this step being taken in support of the LGBTQ+ community.

First Lady Tammy Murphy today announced her plans to continue serving New Jersey’s COVID-19 volunteer effort. The First Lady will travel throughout New Jersey to provide support and highlight critical non-profits in communities across the state

"The March for Black Lives, a peaceful rally organized by Sparta High School students Rachel Young and Olivia Finkeldie, was attended by several hundred who listened to speakers talk about their experiences with racism."

The Sussex County Democratic Committee will once again join The Center for Prevention and Counseling to help bring awareness to an epidemic that has effected us all on some level.  Our participation and donations will help provide resources to family, friends, and neighbors in need.  

Standing alongside Senator Troy Singleton, Assemblyman John McKeon, and environmental advocates Kim Gaddy, Dr. Nicky Sheats, and Dr. Ana Baptiste, Governor Phil Murphy today announced his support for key environmental justice legislation for overburdened communities.
