Chris Christie took office as US Attorney in 2002, after being named to the job by President George W. Bush and being confirmed by the United States Senate in December, 2001.  He claimed on national television that he was appointed on September 10, 2001, implying that he was on the job the next day, September 11, 2001.  This was not true.

At the Sussex County Fair yesterday, Scott Garrett took the opportunity to duck commenting about his refusal to help the National Republican Party support gay candidates.

The Sussex County Democratic Committee will meet on Thursday evening, August 27, 2017 at 7:30 at the Hampton Diner, which is located about one mile north of Newton on route 206.
