On Monday, April 4, Michele Van Allen filed her petition to run for Sussex County Freeholder by delivering it to Sussex County Clerk Jeff Parrott. Michelle seeks one of the two seats on the Sussex County Board of Chosen Freeholders to be filled in this year’s election.

Michele currently serves as a member of the Sussex County Democratic Committee representing Democrats in Hardyston Township Election District 7.

Michele will appear on the June 7th primary election ballot together with another Democratic aspirant to the Freeholder board, Michael Riley-Mills.
