The Sussex County Board of Elections is looking for poll workers for the upcoming primary election on June sixth. Training begins in April. Please consider serving your community in this honorable role.
Sussex County consists of 119 voting districts and employs about 480 Poll Workers for each county-wide election. The day is usually fifteen hours long, and is very rewarding because you are a vital part of the American Democratic process. Not only will you be participating in a most American tradition, you will be interacting with your friends and neighbors as you enable their participation in our democracy.
If you, or someone you know, is interested in volunteering, please contact Jeanie at the Board of Elections at 973-579-0950 x 1591, or email her at PWinfo@sussex.nj.us. Training will be provided free of charge, and you will be paid two hundred dollars for your services.
