Josh Gottheimer Sworn In

Josh Gottheimer was sworn in on Tuesday, representing New Jersey’s fifth congressional district in the 115th Congress.

gottheimer-swearing-in-450.jpgAfter the ceremonies, Josh hosted a gathering of over two hundred supporters at his new congressional office, including New Jersey's two U.S. senators, Cory Booker and Robert Menendez.

In brief interviews, he spoke of the enormous sense of responsibility he faces, and the work ahead. He listed among his top priorities rebuilding U.S. public works and overhauling the tax code.

Gottheimer will maintain a congressional office in Washington and in Bergen County. It was not immediately known if Gottheimer would also open an office in Sussex County or what will become of Garrett's Newton office on Spring Street.
