A couple of days ago, after blaming everyone but himself for the Transportation Trust Fund crisis, Chris Christie told reporters that few New Jersey motorists even noticed the effects of the road and bridge repair shutdown he ordered.

Residents in Sussex County certainly are noticing it. The New Jersey Herald reported on the effect a of some of the bridge repair projects that Christie has stopped. Almost every municipality in the county has at least one closed down bridge that has not been repaired because Christie has been too busy elsewhere to even notice the state’s crumbling infrastructure.
