You can take part in an historic event occurring in Newton on the evening of Thursday, April 7, 2016. For the first time ever, there will be a meeting of the NAACP in Sussex County; and it’s taking place in a building built by, and originally occupied by, the Ku Klux Klan.
The meeting starts at 7 pm.
Rob Jennings posted this article about the event in Sunday’s New Jersey Herald.
The venue for the meeting is the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship hall located at 1 West Nelson Street in Newton.
You’re welcome to attend.
