Sussex Democrats took part in a Saturday evening vigil in memory of those who recently lost their lives to gun violence in Orlando, Florida. The remembrance took place on the Green in Newton.

One of the organizers, Litsa Binder, addressing the group expressed the feeling of all present that government must take steps to prevent such tragedies from occurring in the future, whether they are acts of hate or of terrorism.
