As of yesterday (Saturday, October 24), New Jersey election officials are officially allowed to start counting ballots! While the exact start times will vary from county to county -- and ours has said it will begin only some time after the 24th and before Election Day -- there's no time like the present to get your ballot in.
If you haven't voted already (and we know it's an ever-dwindling group), here is the basic information you'll need to get you successfully through the early voting process.
•Want to make sure your ballot has all of the required pieces?

•Want to deliver your ballot to a secure county drop box?
Please feel free to visit the following site: https://sussexcountyclerk.org/ballot-drop-box-locations.../ for information on your closest drop box.
•Want to hand-deliver it to the county Board of Elections?
Sussex County's BOE is located at
83 Spring Street, Suite 305, Newton. Weekday hours of operation are 8 AM to 4 PM. There will also be weekend hours on Saturday, October 31 from 8 AM until noon. (For more information call 973-579-0950.)
•Need to mail in your ballot through the USPS?
Make sure you get it into your mailbox ASAP! Or consider having a "bearer" deliver it for you. You can find out more about bearers at the Q&A section of New Jersey's voter information portal: https://www.nj.gov/state/elections/vote-faq.shtml
Nine days to go, everybody!
Let's do this!
Make sure your voice is heard and your vote is counted TODAY.
