Despite losing the popular vote for the presidency by almost 3 million votes, GOP lawmakers have claimed a national “mandate” to dismantle the social safety net, restrict women’s reproductive rights, eliminate environmental protections and in general turn the county away from ensuring the human and civil rights that “make America great” and that the Democratic Party supports wholeheartedly.

On Saturday, State Democratic Chair John Currie (on right) arranged to eliminate all New Jersey “super delegates” pledged to Bernie Sanders from their positions on the National Democratic Committee.
