“New Jersey will offer a 10-day back-to-school tax holiday this summer in an effort to ease the pain of inflation on households, Gov. Phil Murphy said Wednesday.
The reprieve from paying the nearly 7% state sales tax on school supplies will last from Aug. 27 to Sept. 5, Murphy said. And it will include a broad range of items, from pencils and notebooks to computers and sports equipment, he said. “
