This morning the Sussex County Democratic Committee had the pleasure of welcoming New Jersey’s 5th District Representative Josh Gottheimer as our first guest for the virtual Coffee and Conversation series.

Among the topics discussed included how the reinstatement of the SALT deduction benefits the middle class, the Congressman’s ability to build coalitions and successfully achieve bipartisanship in Congress, and a dialogue on the rise of far-right extremism on a local, state, and national level. As a newly appointed member of Homeland Security he was able to offer valuable insights.
