As the official results for all races continue to be tallied, the Sussex County Democratic Committee would like to extended our gratitude to the dedicated group of volunteers and committee members that provided their time, energy, and financial support this election cycle. We would also like to thank every candidate that stepped up to run campaigns that were exemplars of integrity and determination.
As we eagerly await the final results of the gubernatorial race, we are optimistic that Phil Murphy will come out victorious and continue to serve as our Governor for a stronger, fairer, and forward New Jersey. 
“As of Wednesday afternoon, Murphy's vote total stood at 1,201,420 and Ciattarelli's total at 1,186,337, according to the AP. However, early votes and mailed-in ballots also had to be counted.
About 700,000 of those votes were cast before Election Day. Vote-by-mail ballots have until Nov. 8 to be received.”
