Think of the over three hundred families that can never stop mourning. The communities that will never really recover.

It’s time to force our elected officials to DO SOMETHING. That is their job.

We applaud Vernon School District for moving forward with this act that sends a clear message of support and acceptance for students and community members that identify as LGBTQIA+

****POSTPONED**** Due to the tragic events of Uvalde, Texas, we will instead be holding a vigil to honor the victims and reaffirm our commitment to proactively ending gun violence. 

It is unacceptable and abhorrent that a place of worship continues to not only have property destroyed, but that the offending actions are a clear act of hate against the LGBTQ+ community. Please contact the Sparta Police if you have any information on this disgraceful vandalism fueled by ignorance.

It’s time to be heard. Support those that support your freedom to choose. Vote, donate, volunteer, whatever it takes. Because our daughters, granddaughters, sisters, nieces, friends need us to do so.
