President Biden Announces Release from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve As Part of Ongoing Efforts to Lower Prices and Address Lack of Supply Around the World

And, as a result of President Biden’s leadership and our diplomatic efforts, this release will be taken in parallel with other major energy consuming nations including China, India, Japan, Republic of Korea and the United Kingdom. This culminates weeks of consultations with countries around the world, and we are already seeing the effect of this work on oil prices. Over the last several weeks as reports of this work became public, oil prices are down nearly 10 percent.”

Transgender Day of Remembrance Vigil

“Please join Sussex County Pride for a vigil recognizing Transgender Day of Remembrance on Saturday, November 20th, starting at 3pm on the Newton Green. Join the LGBTQI+ community and their allies to honor the lives we have lost. The vigil will include speakers, reading of the names and light refreshments.  The vigil will remember the lives of the 46 transgender and gender non-confirming people whose deaths have been documented since January 1st, making 2021 the deadliest year on record for trans and gender non-confirming people.”

Franklin WWII veteran awarded a Quilt of Valor for his service at age 96

Biden to sign big infrastructure bill with $13B for N.J. on Monday. Here’s what to expect

“Billions of federal transportation dollars will flow to New Jersey in the coming months and years after President Joe Biden signs the $1 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill Monday at a White House ceremony.
Deputy U.S. Transportation Secretary Polly Trottenberg, calling the bill the “largest investment in infrastructure since the creation of the interstate highway system,” said states could see some of the money within months, while other programs will take longer to get underway. The transportation bill sets policy for the next five years.”
