Chris Christie sure showed New Jersey Democrats who’s boss. In a fit of pique, he shut down state funded road projects. Way too late, he just woke up to a Transportation Trust Fund crises he denied the existence of until about a month ago.

New Jersey taxpayers funded an investigation of Chris Christie’s involvement in Bridgegate. So far it’s cost over 10 million dollars.

The deadline for filing the necessary paperwork to appear on the ballot for the Sparta Municipal Council is Tuesday, September sixth. If you are interested in running for one of the two council seats up for election this year, you may pick up a packet from the Clerk at the Municipal Building, located at 65 Main Street in Sparta.

Latest polls show that Chris Christie’s approval ratings continue to tank -- although they can’t go much lower -- they’re near rock bottom. Two thirds of New Jerseyans think that he’s a gubernatorial disaster –- 66% of us disapprove of his performance.
