Bickering by New Jersey Democrats seeking the 2017 gubernatorial nomination has officially started.

Phil Murphy has filed a complaint with New Jersey’s Election Enforcement Commission complaining that Jersey City Mayor Steve Fulop has improperly used a bank account to conduct a gubernatorial campaign. Although Fulop is acknowledged to be one of the leading possibilities to take the 2017 gubernatorial nomination, he has yet to declare his candidacy. Murphy has already declared.
