Republicans, tired of Congressman Scott Garrett’s failure to represent their interests, or their point of view, have rallied to support CD5 Democratic candidate Josh Gottheimer.
Typical is Amy Eskilson, president and CEO of Inrad Optics, headquartered in Northvale, Bergen County:
“It absolutely makes no sense to me to be represented in Congress by an individual who is so narrow-minded and blind to our social and economic infrastructure”
Meanwhile, Garrett no longer enjoys the campaign financing advantage he’s had over all of his earlier challengers. Gottheimer’s campaign coffers are at least as full as Garrett’s.
