Fulop slams Norcross for Christie ties

Mayor Steve Fulop is making himself a hero to those of us who abhor boss politics and its results. Let’s hope that he hasn’t committed political suicide by calling out a New Jersey Democratic political boss for his ties to Chris Christie on the Atlantic City bailout and other matters.

norcross-christie.jpgThe Mayor challenged the role that South Jersey political boss and businessman Donald Norcross has in determining the fiscal fate of Atlantic City.

"Why is a nonregistered lobbyist who is an insurance broker actively calling Assembly members throughout New Jersey? Does anyone in New Jersey actually believe that what is happening is in the best interest of Atlantic City or New Jersey?"

Here’s a report from Matt Arco of the Star Ledger.

And here’s Andrew Seidman’s write-up as it appears in the Philadelphia Inquirer.
