New Jersey’s first lady stole the show at Donald Trump’s victory rally last Tuesday night.

Standing behind Trump, Mary Pat Christie rolled her eyes at his attack on Hillary Clinton for playing the “woman’s card.” Mrs. Christie appeared to bristle at his assertion that she would be getting far fewer votes if she were a man.

One wonders how Mrs. Christie’s reaction sat with Sussex County Republican Committee Vice Chair Jill Space. Although Space herself is anxious to take part in the GOP national convention as a delegate, she believes women have little or no interest in politics.
