NAACP Meets in Sussex County

On Thursday, April 7th, the Warren-Sussex New Jersey chapter of the NAACP met for the first time in Sussex County.

Chapter president Charles Boddy led the meeting, held at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Sussex County.  The Fellowship occupies a building erected 90 years ago by Ku Klux Klan members.  The meeting covered a wide range of topics, including the history of the NAACP chapter's involvement in Sussex County, and the upcoming Scholarship Fundraiser Dinner-Dance event.

Many members of the Sussex County Democratic Committee were on hand for the gathering.

Rob Jennings from the New Jersey Herald covered the event.
