Assemblywoman Gail Phoebus owes Planned Parenthood an apology.
A Texas grand jury carefully examined doctored film footage touted by Phoebus in support of her accusations that Planned Parenthood illegally sells infant body parts and promotes infanticide. The Texas jury cleared PP of all wrongdoing. In fact, it went on to indict two of the producers of the fraudulent films.
Last Summer, then Freeholder Phoebus relied on the bogus videos to convince her colleagues on the Sussex County Board of Chosen Freeholders to adopt a resolution to undermine the work of PP in the State of New Jersey. She also claimed that by adopting her scandalous resolution the Freeholders would back a bill sponsored by State Senator Steve Oroho seeking to regulate the sale of human body parts. There was no such bill. Her allegations were caught on video:
