Garrett votes no to transportation funding

Scott Garrett stands alone among New Jersey’s congressional delegation with his vote against funding for our nation’s highways and mass transit systems.

An overwhelming bipartisan majority (359 representatives including 178 Republicans) voted in favor of preserving our transportation infrastructure. Garrett joined 65 die hard anti government extremists in the GOP to vote “no”.   President Obama said he will sign the bill which is called the “Surface Transportation Reauthorization and Reform Act of 2015”.
