Randy Maestro’s law firm says it returned Chris Christie’s cellphone to him after publishing its report. That report, written in behalf of the Governor at taxpayer expense, exonerated him from any wrongdoing, or even any knowledge, in connection with Bridgegate.

Christie denies knowing the whereabouts of the device. He can’t explain it. It just disappeared.

So, what were the instructions Christie texted to his Chief of Staff, Regina Egea while she was testifying before a state Assembly panel about the lane closures at the George Washington Bridge?

And so, the Bridgegate mystery deepens.
