SCDC Executive Director Mike Figueiredo, recently elected to the Andover Borough Council, was elected President of that body last week.

He took office after he was sworn in by Andover Borough Clerk, Beth Brothman.  Mike has served on the Borough Council since February, 2015. He finished out the term of Councilwoman Debbie McGowan who, because of health reasons, was unable to finish out her term. He was elected to the council in his own right last November and to serve through 2019.
